Jessica Waldon clinched the overall title in style with a victory in the sixth and final round of the Longines Hathab Dressage Tour yesterday.
At the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, Waldon astride stallion San Francisco won with an aggregate average of 66.923% in the Medium (Level 1) event.

Jassim Al Jaham Al Kuwari on Miss Chili finished runner-up with 64.423%.The final podium spot wen to Maryam Ahmad Al Boinin on Silvan with 64.103%, while Saoud Ahmed Al Boinin finished fourth astride Leslie Ann 2 with 60.834%. In the Prelim Level 2 class, Khalid Sanad al-Nuaimi bagged the top two places. Al-Nuaimi took the top spot with Gop Stop after registering an aggregate average of 67.885%. He also took the runner-up place partnering Green on 67.789%. Jassim Mohamed Al Fahd Al Kuwari finished third with Leslie Ann 2 on 67.788%.
Qatar’s top dressage rider Wejdan Majed Al Malki, the first Arab rider to participate in an international 5-star dressage championship, and Ali Yousef Al Rumaihi, Director of Longines Tours Hathab and Secretary-General of the Qatar Equestrian Federation crowned the winners.
