Fuel prices have once again been hiked on Saturday, making this is the 14th straight day of rise in prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol prices in Delhi have been hiked by Rs 0.51 per litre while diesel prices have been hiked by Rs 0.61 per litre.
With the latest hike, petrol prices have touched Rs 78.88 per litre in Delhi and diesel prices have touched Rs 77.67 per litre. This is the 14th day of fuel prices hike since June 9.
Both petrol and diesel prices have been increased by over Rs 7 per litre over the past two weeks.
In Mumbai, petrol price has been increased to Rs 85.72 per litre while diesel is retailing at Rs 75.54.
Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending on the incidence of local sales tax or VAT.
