After a wild, windy, long week in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for the Players, the PGA Tour heads just outside Tampa for the 2022 Valspar Championship. Viktor Hovland and Justin Thomas are the betting favorites at +1000.
Two-time champion Paul Casey withdrew from the event earlier in the week. However, last year’s winner, Sam Burns, made the trip to defend his title and sits at +2000 to win. Henrik Stenson, who withdrew from the Players Championship last week, is also in the field after it was announced on Tuesday that he would captain the European Ryder Cup team in 2023.
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort will play as par 71 measuring 7,340 yards.
Here are some of the best photos from the week outside Tampa.
